RULES AND POLICIES

 

Enrollment & Registration Info

 

·        New students may enroll at any time.

·        A Registration and Release of Liability form must be filled out prior to taking class.

 

Tuition

·        The tuition prices  are located on the bulletin board at the studio or on the home page of our website www.PacificDanceCenter.com under Rules and Policies.

·        Tuition must be paid by the second week of each new session.

·        A $20 late fee will be included to all tuition paid after the second week of the session. 

·        The late fee applies to all continuing students. 

·        Tuition will be prorated for new students only (NO EXCEPTIONS). 

·        There will be a $25 service fee for all returned checks.

 

Make-up Classes

 

·        Call or email Pacific Dance Center to schedule your make-up class.

·        Make-ups may be made at any time during the current session and/or in the first week of the following session.

·        We do not carry over any missed classes beyond that week.

·        Missed classes are not refunded or credited. NO EXCEPTIONS.

·        Make ups can be made in any class appropriate to the students age and level.

 

Children's Drop off & Pick up

 

·        You may only drop off your child at the dance class and leave if your child is fully potty-trained.

·        You may leave once the class has already started and you must be back to pick up your child on time.

·        Late pick up fees of $5  per 5 minutes will be applied to your account if your child is picked up late.
( Example: Class ends at 4:30pm, late pick up starts at 4:35pm)

 

Family Discount

 

·        We give a 10% discount on tuition fees for each additional family member.

 

 

Private Lessons  

 

·        Private and semi-private lessons are available to all ages and all levels. 

·        Fees are $70 for 1 hour private, $45 for 30 minute private, $60 for 1 hour semi-private (2-3 students), $30 for 30 minute semi-private (2-3 students).

 

Attire & Dress Code

 

·        Each child is should have their own dance bag. It should contain: Dance shoes, leotard, tights and money for  snacks and water, brush, hair spray, pins, hair net or bun cover.

·        Students are expected to wear the uniform for their class and level as well as be well groomed.

·        Student's hair must be pulled back off the face.

·        In Ballet classes, a neat bun is required at all times.

·        We carry ballet slippers, tap shoes, tights and hair accessories at the studio.

·        No jewelry (except for small stud earrings) are to be worn to class or rehearsals.

 

Dress Code

 

·        Ballet levels 1-4 and all Company dancers (girls): Black leotard, Pink tights and Pink ballet slippers (ballet skirt optional), Hair in a neat bun

·        Ballet belt is also required for all Ballet levels (girls): 

* Royal Blue (Ballet 1),                                                                              * Turquoise (Ballet 1/2),

* Red (Ballet 2),                                                                                             * Lavender (Ballet 2/3),

* Yellow (Ballet 3),                                                                                      * Light Blue (Ballet 4),

* White (Apprentice Co 1),                                                                      * Light Pink (Apprentice Co 2),

* Hot Pink (Senior Co)

·        Ballet (boys): Black tights or leggings, White T-shirt or leotard, Black or White shoes and White socks

·        Toddler, Preschool and Combo classes: Pink ballet slipper, Black tap shoes, Leotard & Tights of any color, Hair pulled back off the face in ponytail or bun

·        Contemporary: Black Tights, Black Leotard, Dance Paws, Hair pulled back off the face

·        Hip-Hop: Black dance pants (jazz or capri), Any fitted T-shirt, Dance sneakers, Hair pulled back off the face

·        Jazz: Black dance pants (jazz or capri), any colored Leotard and Jazz shoes, Hair pulled back off the face

·        Tap: Black dance pants (jazz or capri), any colored Leotard and Tap shoes, Hair pulled back off the face

 

Classroom Etiquette

 

·        Arrive at least 10 minutes early to prepare yourself for class.

·        If late, wait for the teacher to give you permission to enter the class.

·        Be respectful of the teacher at all times.

·        At the end of class applaud the teacher and thank him/her with a curtsey of bow.

·        Only water bottles are allowed in the studio.

·        Snacks, juice and water are available for 50 cents each at the front desk.

·        Younger siblings need to be watched by the parent in the lobby and not be banging on the windows or doors.
