Pacific Dance Center
At Pacific Dance Center we offer dance classes for children ages 3 to adult in classical ballet technique, contemporary, jazz, ballet variations, pointe, partnering, character, tap, modern and Pilates. Our Professional Development Intensive is held each summer at Pacific Dance Center. It offers a diverse multi-disciplinary dance curriculum and is designed to educate aspiring pre-professional dancers. Our curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of outcome-based guidelines that combines respected ballet principles with cutting-edge knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology, and injury prevention. Our Wellness Lecture Series covers topics on nutrition, women’s health, stress management and strength training.
Pacific Dance Center is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program, which combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of
age–appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality
ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Primary through Level 5 will be taught by ABT certified teachers, Linden McPherson,
Jack Virga Hall, Khilea Douglass and Anaite Arnold
who have successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 5 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
Consistent with the stylistic requirements of ABT National Training Curriculum,
Pacific Dance Center aims to provide dancers with a rich knowledge of classical technique and the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance. The emphasis at
